Just answering some questions...
#1. Who was your first prom date? I didn't go to prom - I was a geek and no one asked me (of course other geeks went, so maybe it was just the fact that I was shy and didn't really talk to boys.)

#2. Do you still talk to your first love? Everyday - I hope my husband doesn't find out! hehe!

#3. What was your first alcoholic drink? in the Bennett household in early 70's you learned to walk by walking towards a beer can!!!!!!! <-- I don't remember learning to walk with beer, but I recall many times asking my dad for a sip then saying it was gross -- but didn't stop me from asking again another day!

#4. What was your first car? That would be my gold Plymouth horizen (or something like that - little tiny hatchback) Of course I didn't really get to drive it much cause at the time it was the only car running in the household, so my parents drove it while I was at college.

#5. Who was the first person to text you today? Nobody texted me today

#6. Who is the first person you thought of this morning? Probably Emily (wondering if she got her butt out of bed yet)

#7 Who was your first grade teacher? Mr. Bosen - not sure what happened to him - he's either retired or dead. I remember that he would punish people by shaking them - we also had to say hello and goodbye in German

#8. Who was your first best friend, and are you still friends with him/her? I think my first best friend was Nita Newsome or Amy Kopt (i seriously can't remember how to spell her last name) - I still email Nita once in a while - haven't seen Amy since my 10 year high school reunion.

#9. What was your first sport played? I don't think I really ever did sports - does bowling count (see geek reference in question one - hehe)

#10. Where was your first sleepover? Either at Amy Kopt's house or Gretchen somebody (can't remember her last name)

#11. Who was the first person you talked to today? Other than my husband and kids, my co-worker Mary

#12. Whose wedding were you in the first time? I was a flower girls at my cousin's wedding when I was about 6 I think - but as a "grown up" I think my first wedding was my fiend Tina Jones

#13. What was the first thing you did this morning? the same thing I do every morning at 4:30 AM - let the dog out and feed him (he is on a whacked up schedule!)

#14 What was the first concert you ever went to? Chicago with Brian when we were dating

#15 What was your first tattoo or piercing? First piercing: ears -Tattoo: don't have any

#16 What was the first foreign country you went to? Canada - Niagra Falls and that's still the only foreign country I've been to

#17 What was your first run-in with the law? Probably a couple months ago when the neighbors called the cops on my dog barking - you see, unlike my sister, I'm an angel! hehe!

#18. When was your first detention? I don't think I ever had detention

#19. What was the first state you lived in? Montana

#20. Who was the first person to break your heart? my dad :-(

#21. Who was your first roommate? Chris Wyse in freshman year of college

#22. Where did you go on your first limo ride? Hmmm...I think it was probably to a wedding when I was a bridesmaid - I don't really recall. Guess it wasn't too memorable.

Bizarre Experience

Ok...I'm driving to work yesterday (well of course I was driving - hehe) and after I got off the interstate and start heading down Sterretania Road I get a sharp shooting pain in my head (just behind my left ear - almost like a brain cramp). It lasts for less than a minute and never returns UNTIL....today I'm driving to work and at the SAME EXACT LOCATION of my drive I get the shooting pain! How weird is that???? And again I've had no other pains today. I'm wondering if there is some sort of force field there causing that to happen - maybe some weird crop circle vibes - hehehe!

Just thought I'd share that - yesterday I took a different way home because I had to run an errand, but today I'm going to go home the same way I came to work and see if it happens again.

I'll keep you posted - because I'm sure everyone is dying to know!

Vacation Time!!!!

Since I haven't written in a while, I thought I'd better say something. So in honor of my last day at work before I head out I would like to say....

I can't wait for 5 oclock!!!!!!!

I packed all the clothes this morning, then I checked the weather where we are going, and I think I was a little to optimistic. Who would have thought that it might be in the low 70s and rainy in late July! Hopefully, the weather decides to warm up and the rain stays to a minimum. Either way I'm sure it will be a good time and over way too fast!

If only vacations could last forever!!!

It's Monday!

I'd first just like to reiterate my earlier statement - I want to move to Florida!!!

We did have a nice weekend - not exactly summer weather, but it was at least sunny. Then I wake up this morning to the furnace running and rain!!! This is just not right! I just hope we have a nice 4th of July weekend.

We had a busy weekend. Saturday we took the kids on about a 3 mile bike ride in Meadville, PA. Poor Kenzie had to be towed most of the way back because her legs were getting too tired. At night we took them to the drive in to see Garfield. They thought the drive in was pretty neat. Yesterday we paited the decks - they look nice. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the extent of my weekend.

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Feeling a little out of sorts today - too much on my mind. Went to Dad's grave last night with the girls. Hadn't been there in about 3 or 4 years! Yes, I'm a terrible daughter. But I just don't see the point - I'd rather look out the back door of our house and remember him, then stare at a plaque. Emmy started asking questions about how he died, why he died, how she wished she would have met him, etc. Made me sad. Wish they could have known him, but at least they have a dad that is a lot like him! :-)

Emmy started asking about cancer - what it was, why people die from it, etc. Tried to be careful what I said. One day I'll have to tell her that Marla has cancer, and I don't want her to think that Marla is going to die. Though, it's not looking good for that little girl. What a terrible thing to have to go through when your 6. I hate cancer!!!!!! There I'm going to end this on that note!

(Such and uplifting lj, huh?)
